Super...SK's story is EXACTLY what I was referring to. I saw many of my "peers" do this kind of crap while they were Dub's. To JW's all non-JW's are "bird food", your flesh to be eaten in the soon to come Armeggedon. So if you hubby went running back to them, they would rejoice. Your feelings and thoughts would not be considered. Super, to them, you are GARBAGE. Something to be set outside on the curb. Nothing more, nothing less. For the short time he spends with you his parents will blame you for his lack of spirituality. TRUST me on this. I have seen it time and time again.
I only hope you actually present him with the allegations and proof you said you are researching. What his reactions. That will tell you what he really is all about. There are lots of things on this site to help you, along with many resources. Good luck.

Super...sorry you are going through this.
Your post honestly is like dozens of others I've seen. These seem to come about 2 per week. Yes we know THIS relationship is special. Yes we know you have so much in common. Yes he's the nicest, sweetest, whatever guy you've ever met. Yes we also know that you will dismiss the advice you recieve here and continue dating this putz.
My disgust is not directed at you, so please don't think that. I get tired of these putz's who knowingly ensnare a "worldly" girl/guy. Then they slowly yet surely choke out any remenants of yourself. WHY CAN'T THESE JW PUTZ'S DATE OTHER JW'S??? Playing their little game on unsuspecting conquests just disgusts me.
So my advice is RUN, RUN, RUN. Change your phone number. Change your email address. Move across town if you have to. But you won't. You'll stick around for more of the heartbreaking abuse and it just makes me sad and angry at your boyfriend and his ilk that ply their trade. When I was a Dub I watched many "peers" do this same crap. It was almost like a power trip. They got the "ultimate prize" a worldly girl/guy. Then when the heat became too much to bear, they dumped them promptly without a single shred of remorse.
Sorry you are going through this but welcome to the party. Perhaps this is your cross to bear. Who knows.

Well hopefully when the mother is old and infirm this daughter will repay her mother similarly. Perhaps put her wheelchair bound mother out on a street corner with a sign around her neck that say "I peed myself this morning and didn't save enough $ for my own retirement to take care of myself. Will work for Depends".
What's next for this brainiac of a mother? When her daughter picks up smoking is she going to put cigarette butts out on her wrist?

for starters, here are a couple of links to on-line ecological footprint calculators that only take a couple of minutes to punch in basic data to get back a rough environmental impact assessment on how sustainable your lifestyle is.
sustainability requires decent and equitable living within the means of nature.

I agree Eyebrow. I only buy organic clubbed baby seal meat. I only eat bald eagle omlets twice a week. Recycle my brazilian rain forest cherry chopsticks. And pour my old oil down the sewer religiously. How can my ecological impact really be that large?

actually, her husband came in the hall while he was substuting as a watchtower conductor and i was reading and screamed all sorts of profanities to him all the while screaming that he was "f***king his wife"!
when the man told him, "i wanna talk to you", the elder said, "not now".

Usually.
I had a roomate that would disappear for a few days or up to a week. Then show up looking like shit and sleep for 3 days. Literally. He'd sleep 36 hours...get up a few times to go to the bathroom and maybe eat a sandwich. He'd binge on drugs...stay up 5 or 6 solid days with no sleep.
Also...have seen people go off on drug binges for 6 months or more. They'd clean themselves up for a couple of years to save up enough money to go on a drug binge for a few months. Very, very weird.
My drug of choice is endorphins. -
